Yay for the garden!

I had big plans for dinner tonight.  Tonight was supposed to be seafood stuffed poblano peppers.  Alas, work got in the way.  Just no time to get into a new recipe.  And definitely no time to go to the store and get seafood.  Fortunately my very own garden bailed me out!  Today I pulled my first mess of beans and another summer squash.  I had a now ripe Hanover tomato from the last farmers’ market.  Happy, happy.

No recipes tonight because the simplest preparation is best when an opportunity like this presents itself. It’s not every day you get to eat vegetables less than an hour after they were picked.  When those days roll around you should punt any other plans and enjoy!
